Bring the family out to the American Red Cross for a FREE day of fun, games, and resources! Enjoy a bubble station, photo booth, soft play area for the littles, face painting, and much more!

Plus, we’ll be handing out FREE backpacks filled with school supplies to 500 children! The backpacks are first-come, first-served while supplies last, and the child MUST be present to receive one.

Family Day is one of the United Way Family Resource Center Network’s largest annual community celebrations, bringing together children, caregivers, community partners, and volunteers for a day centered on connection, resources, and family fun.

Designed with the community, for the community, Family Day reflects the voices and experiences of local families through activities, resources and supports that help children and caregivers feel connected and prepared for the school year ahead. Families can enjoy free activities, community resources, giveaways, food support, children’s activities and opportunities to connect with organizations and services available throughout San Antonio.

Family Day is rooted in the Family Resource Center Network’s mission of helping create safer, stronger, and more connected communities for children and families by bringing support and resources closer to where families live.
