Get ready to reel in the big one! This FREE community event invites young anglers to test their skills and connect with nature in a friendly, competitive environment. Compete for the longest Single Bass, Catfish, and Sunfish.

Tournament Schedule
- 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM: On-site registration and check-in.
- 8:30 AM – 8:45 AM: Tournament rules and safety briefing.
- 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM/12:00 PM: Fishing tournament.
- 12:30 PM: Awards ceremony for longest single Bass, Catfish, and Sunfish.
This is a fun event for the youth to learn preservation and patience while appreciating nature and creating meaningful social bonds with fellow anglers.
Eligibility and Participation
- Age Divisions: There are two categories: ages 5–10 and 11–16. (No fishing license required for ages 16 and under)
- Requirements: Participants must bring proof of age (ID) and be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- Equipment: Anglers are permitted to use their own fishing gear. Fish must be caught using a rod and reel only. Both artificial lures and live bait are allowed, provided they are approved by TPWD.
