San Antonio ISD Disability Services invites families to Dyslexia Family Night! Join us for an evening designed to help SAISD parents/guardians of students with dyslexia understand the difficulties and frustrations that many children with dyslexia encounter daily.

The evening will begin with time for snacks and an introduction to the Experience Dyslexia activity. We will then break into groups, with parents/guardians participating in the Experience Dyslexia event and students/children ages 18 and under heading to the Children’s Room for activities such as read-alouds and phonics games led by Dyslexia Teachers and other Disability Services staff members.

We will wrap up with time for a group discussion about how it felt to experience dyslexia. Each student will also be able to select a book to take home.
