AugustHeart FREE Heart Screenings are open to teens aged 13-18.

SCREENING PROCESS

♥ A parental waiver must be signed for your teen to receive a heart screening (included in online registration).

♥ Teens should wear loose-fitting clothing.

♥ Screening includes an electrocardiogram (ECG). Tests will be reviewed by a cardiologist off-site. Results typically take 2-3 weeks and will be emailed once received. IF needed, a limited 2-D echocardiogram (ECHO) will be scheduled at a later date.

♥ The screening process typically takes approximately 20 minutes per student. NOTE: AVERAGE WAIT TIME VARIES.

♥ Screenings are offered at no charge. For those choosing to make an optional donation, $30 offsets the cost to screen one student.
