VIA hosts monthly Job Fairs to hire for all open positions, including Bus Operators (Full and Part-Time) and Mechanics. Applicants are encouraged to complete the online application prior to in-person job fairs in order to expedite the interview process.

VIA is offering hiring incentives of up to $4,000 for bus operators and up to $6,000 for mechanics.

The starting hourly wage for full-time bus operators is $22.45, which increases to more than $24 by the 12th month of service. Starting wage for mechanics is $26.79 per hour.

Bus operators, mechanics, and maintenance employees receive uniform allowances. Mechanics also receive tool allowances.
