The City of San Antonio’s World Heritage Office and the Department of Arts & Culture officially kick off National Poetry Month in San Antonio with the 11th Annual Viva Poesía: Palabras, Música, y Cultura festival!

This year, we’re celebrating 11 awesome years with the theme “Ónce Pon a Time”! To commemorate this milestone, we’re reuniting poets and performers from the past decade.

The event will also feature live music, fruit tree adoption* from the San Antonio Parks & Recreation Department, make-and-take art activities for the entire family, and more! Pop-up vendors will be on-site, and food and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the evening.
