You are invited to join Sheriff Javier Salazar in the ongoing effort to keep Bexar County safe by enrolling in the Sheriff’s Citizens Academy.

This 13-week academy is designed to give Bexar County residents a deeper understanding of law enforcement and the operations of the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office through education, discussion, and hands-on learning. Classes held every Wednesday from 6:00–9:00 p.m. between February 25, 2026, and May 20, 2026.
