SUMMARY:FREE Heart Screening for Teens- Spurs Back to School Bash
DESCRIPTION:AugustHeart Free Heart Screening: This screening is open to teens aged 13-18. \nRegistration and a signed waiver are required for participation in the heart screenings. \nHeart screenings at this event are generously sponsored by Methodist Healthcare. \nSCREENING PROCESS \n♥ A parental waiver must be signed in order for your teen to receive a heart screening (included in registration). \n♥ Teens should wear loose fitting clothing. \n♥ Screening includes an electrocardiogram (ECG). If needed a limited 2-D echocardiogram (ECHO) will be scheduled at a later date. \n♥ ECG’s will be read by a cardiologist off-site. Results will be emailed to the address provided at registration and are typically sent within 2-3 weeks of the screening. \n♥ The screening process typically takes approximately 20 minutes per student. NOTE: AVERAGE WAIT TIME VARIES. \n♥ Screenings are offered at no charge. For those choosing to make an optional donation\, $30 offsets the cost to screen one student. \n
